Wyoming Valley Challenger is a part of Challenger Little League Baseball. The league is run by a group of dedicated VOLUNTEERS. They donate a great deal of valuable time in meeting to conduct business year round, in addition to the work involved with setting up and conducting the games. We WELCOME anyone who wishes to get involved and help organize and run the league. It is rewarding.
The Challenger Division was established in 1989 as is Little League's adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and mental challenges. Any individual with a physical or intellectual challenge may participate. If am individual can participate in the traditional Little League Baseball or Softball program with reasonable accomodations they should do so. The Little League Challenger Division accomodates players ages 4 to 18; or up to age 22 if still enrolled in school. The Senior League Challenger Division accommodates players ages 15 and above (no maximum age).
